Field Performance Engineer

General

No RF experience is needed, however, candidates should possess a proven ability to work independently as well as within a group setting and a desire to be a part of a company dedicated to the development and installation of best-in-class assured communications products, systems, and services. Ability to apply RF formulas and mathematical equations to various RF designs and field situations. Demonstrated ability to work with Windows, PC hardware, Office Software, Visio, and other basic applications. Job Description:

Meet with clients and perform site surveys of buildings, campuses, subterranean levels, and other areas where RF signals may need to be enhanced. Manage and take charge of construction type projects and personnel. Travel within the region 60% of the time. Coordinate work schedules. Troubleshoot, diagnose, & resolve installation and hardware problems. Resolve customer requests, questions and complaints frequently requiring analysis of situations to determine best use of resources.

Experience (not all need apply):

Any RF or IT background; familiarity with computer networks and theory, network troubleshooting, etc. Basic understanding of cable pulling procedures and construction related scenarios. Project management of IT based projects and/or construction projects.

Purchasing & Logistics Coordinator

Job Description:

We are actively seeking a customer-oriented professional who can manage warehouse logistics as well as procurement responsibilities.  The candidate must have strong verbal and writing skills, as well as the ability to articulate themselves with clients and vendors both in e-mail and phone conversation.  Strong typing skills are preferred.  The individual is to have a experience with MS Word, Excel, et al.  Candidate must be oriented to work in a people friendly environment while being prepared to think on their feet during periods of heavy workflow.  The ability to quickly familiarize and understand the functions of a technical parts list is required.
 

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Prepares all parts and equipment purchase orders
  • Corresponds and communicates with vendors and clients in order to follow-up regarding purchase order status
  • Verifying that all purchases are being made at the optimum price
  • Prepares professional correspondence to vendors and clients in order to assist with Operations Director’s responsibilities
  • Supports and assists the daily functions of the Operations Department
  • Uses established company ordering procedures and search of internet for occasional non-ordinary products needed
  • Creates MS Office generated reports as required
  • Keys all system input covering parts transactions for purchase orders and or subcontracts, receive, restock and document the equipment, tools and materials returned from projects
  • Maintains various inventory section levels while processing paperwork for equipment received
  • Utilizes online web tools in order to assure all company standards are followed
  • Coordinates return material authorizations by preparing parts for returns, tracking and shipping
  • Assists in other parts department duties such as receiving, filing, invoicing, and shipping parts orders, as required

Construction Manager

Job Description:

Manage and take charge of construction projects and installation personnel. Travel within the Mid Atlantic region 75% of the time. Manage work flow and manpower. Coordinate work schedules. Troubleshoot, diagnose, & resolve installation and hardware problems. Meet with clients and perform construction surveys of buildings, campuses, subterranean levels, and other areas where RF signals may need to be enhanced. Performs light testing and verification of systems. Proactively resolves customer requests, questions and complaints frequently requiring analysis of situations to determine best use of resources.

Preferred Experience:

Prior experience managing installation teams preferred. Any commercial construction background. Familiarity with cabling, low voltage systems, electrical installation, etc. Basic understanding of cable pulling procedures and construction related scenarios. Management of installation for IT based projects and/or electrical, communications construction projects.

Installation Technician

General

The Installation Technician installs, maintains, and operates wired, wireless, fiber optic and RF telecommunications equipment and systems. The technician provides support in the maintenance and operation of Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) and telecommunication site infrastructures.

Job Description:

Installation Technician responsibilities include the following:

  • Maintain and enforce the Intenna Systems safety standards, ensure daily job site safety plans are reviewed and followed, and stop work when unsafe work practices or conditions exist
  • Assist Crew Foreman to ensure quality service to clients
  • Install/De-install wireless systems, connectors, antenna and accessories; and perform maintenance on wireless equipment
  • Work effectively both individually and with other crew members
  • Handle transportation of equipment
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned
  • Run new cabling in new or existing buildings.
  • Terminate Cat5, Cat6,  1/2 “ coax and various other cabling disciplines
  • Run and splice fiber optic cabling
  • Test and troubleshoot all cabling
  • Install telecom style floor mount/wall mount racking equipment
  • Install field prep such as cable supports, rooftop antenna supports, plywood, etc…
  • Install in-building equipment grounding systems.

Primary Location:

Medford, New Jersey

Experience:

  • Nominal experience and/or training as a telecom or electrical installer (Entry Level Position)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a telecom or electrical installer (Sr. Level Position)

Requirements:

  • Ability to clear criminal background checks, drug screen and driver’s license check required
  • Ability to work from ladders, lifts and rooftops is required
  • Ability to lift, carry, push and pull 75lbs required
  • Ability to crouch, kneel, twist, reach, grasp and climb with both hands and legs required
  • Availability to work evening hours required
  • Ability to travel up to 75%
  • Willingness to take on and learn new tasks required
